Scott Johnson
With over 39 years’ experience as a trial lawyer, Scott has achieved noteworthy results for his clients. Scott has been selected a Minnesota “Super Lawyer” by his peers and has, for the past eight years, taught trial skills as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School.
Scott has practiced in a variety of complex business, tort, and commercial areas of law in numerous courts around the country. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Hamline University School of Law, where he edited the Law Review and ranked second in his class.
As an attorney with the national litigation firm of Robins Kaplan, Scott participated on trial teams in the Dalkon Shield products liability litigation, the Bhopal India gas leak litigation, and the Kaiser anti-trust litigation. His extensive trial experience includes successfully handling wrongful death cases, and insurance cases, contract and fraud cases various state and federal courts.
Scott is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and is admitted in the United States District Courts for Minnesota and the Eastern District of Washington, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Claims, and the United States Supreme Court. Scott focuses his practice on complex litigation including insurance law, contract breach, torts, and business litigation.
