RUTY GEBREAB

Ruty Gebreab joined our firm after gaining valuable experiences as an in-house attorney for a manufacturing company and working as a staff attorney for an immigration firm. As an in-house attorney, Ruty drafted and negotiated sizeable contracts and provided strategic legal advice regarding general corporate matters. In her immigration practice, she performed legal research and drafted memoranda, while providing full representation to clients filing family-based and humanitarian petitions.

While at the University of Wisconsin, she also worked as a clinical attorney for the Immigrant Justice Clinic where she provided comprehensive legal services to low-income immigrants. Ruty has intentionally engaged in complex transnational and practical experiences. These experiences challenged her to develop nontraditional and creative ways to problem solve at a level unparalleled to most young attorneys.

One of Ruty’s greatest assets is her ability to provide outstanding client services. She utilizes creative problem-solving techniques she developed to resolve complex legal issues in an efficient manner. Ruty advocates zealously for clients while remaining steadfast in her professional and intellectual commitment to providing high quality legal services. In both litigation and transactional matters, Ruty is well attuned to clients’ goals and is devoted to ensuring such goals are met. Ruty’s enthusiasm, passion, and diverse experiences make her an invaluable member of our team.
